British choreographer Nigel Charnock passed away at the age of 52 years

Nigel Charnock, British dancer, choreographer and theatre director has died at the age of 52. Mr. Charnock passed away yesterday (Wednesday) at St Christopher's Hospice in South London he was diagnosed with cancer in June of this year.
A founding member of physical theatre company DV8, Mr Charnock was a prolific creator of work across a wide range of art forms for more than 30 years and was well known and highly regarded in the dance community for his apparently boundless energy and formidable solo performances.
Nigel Charnock visited the Divadelná Nitra International Festival twice, in 1999 as a director of production of Macbeth with a Volcano Theatre Company from Swansea, and in 2003 with his own dance monodrama Frank.
