Children Celebrated White Tulip

Pre-Christmas event of the project A Tulip for You – a joint creative workshop and meeting of visually impaired children from Bratislava with sighted children from Nitra.
7^th December 2011, the Club of A Tulip for You, Svrčia 6, Bratislava.

The Association of Divadelná Nitra and A Tulip for You project for children, but also for friends and for the project supporters, prepared a Santa Claus´ party in A Tulip for You Club in Bratislava also this winter. An all-day event for more than 55 children is named already three years White Tulip and it was held on Wednesday, 7^th December 2011. In the club of A Tulip for You in Bratislava blind and visually impaired children welcomed their friends from Nitra, who are familiar with the many regular events of the project, e.g. from the September Tulip, which is always held during the International Theatre Festival Divadelná Nitra, and from this year’s weekend workshop at Trenčianske Teplice – the June Tulip.

An all-day programme at the Club of A Tulip for You began a children creative workshop. The theme of winter and snow worried imagination of children, because of the snow was not seen this year yet. But the results, as always, were worthwhile. Then Santa Claus was waiting for the children with green sachets full of snacks and, when it was evening, the children of the project together with children of school for children with visual impairments met in the big hall for joint disco.
